After a good win courtesy of a cracker by Fernando Torres (who else?) at Sunderland comes our first home match of the season - Middlesbrough. Last season’s corresponding encounter saw a superb Torres hat-trick and a somewhat undeserved sending off for Aliadiere late on. It's my privilege to kick off the 2008/2009 season of Spyin' Kop.
So here we are again, a new season, Rafa Benitez' fifth season at the helm
and once again we are all dreaming of that elusive league title.
